Silo is a methane bio-digester to harvest and store methane from cow herds. It is designed to reduce the overall levels of methane into the earths atmosphere by containing and storing the agents harming the atmosphere. The bio-digester will be installed onsite on local dairy and beef farms for the direct convenience of harvesting methane. The building form is reminiscent of traditional grain silos, situated within a grain fi eld which also provides feed for the buildings cow inhabitants.
